I haven’t had a lot of time to blog this past week. My nursing program is taking up a lot of my time. I managed to get a B on my first exam and I will find out tomorrow what I got on my second exam which I took on Monday. I think that I got an A, you never know though, ya know how sometimes you think that you do really well on something only to find out that you really did horrible on it. Hopefully that wont be the case!
I haven’t been home from work for long and I do not plan on doing any studying tonight since I have already put 6 hours into it today. I’m actually going to have time to surf the net and watch some TV.
I plan to see Tim after school tomorrow evening so it looks like Thursday will be a study day for next weeks exam. I have to work Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. So much for the holiday weekend. I really shouldn’t complain, I do need the money and Monday will be time and a half. The only thing that I have planned for the weekend is going to the beach with Tim on Sunday night to see 3 Doors Down. Other than that it looks like it will be all work and no play.
What are everyone’s plans for the holiday weekend?
It looks like we are going to finally get some much needed rain. Tropical storm Ernesto is forecast to blow through here sometime in the next couple of days. Right now it doesn’t look like the storm will have a lot of punch to it but you never know with these things. Hopefully it wont strengthen too much.
The only day I have off is Sunday. I think Rebecca and I might go to the flea market in Glouster. Other than that laundry, I alway sdo laundry on Sundays..groan…lol
By Friday I will have worked 60 hours this week, so if I don’t sleep all the long weekend, I’ll probably be heading either out to lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, the Spokane River here in WA or just going somewhere with my husband to camp…
Ray goes in for knee surgery so the only thing I might do is take the twins to the park so he can rest as much as possible. The other thing I have to try to get done is the last minute stuff for the kids for school. As long as Joe doesn’t try to be a jerk I will be homeschooling them both again. The twins are going to start a preschool program too. They always want to do what the big kids are doing, so they will have their own “school” stuff. Mostly coloring and crafts. Hope you have fun at the concert.
A concert, you lucky dog. Oh or the beach…that sounds nice.
I’m doing nothing. Maybe that is what I need. We were expecting the weekend so we will figure it out. We may go back home to see some family. We’ll see.
btw, I need your advice over on my blog today. guy stuff.
Maybe a picnic if we can get our act together. I’m not one to travel on holidays. The roads are crazy.
I’m so mad, I only got a ‘C’ on my exam. I was so sure that I had aced it. I wont be getting anything done besides studying and working this weekend.
Congratulations on the B, bummer on the C. Hope the study pays off.
